Every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month (8:00AM – 1:00PM) but I hadn’t been to “Christies” for a while. And it was humming, lovely weather plenty of stalls including a row of produce: specialist avocados, honey etc plus general fruit and veg. Lots of what appeared to be regular stall-holders and the ones I spoke to were all really friendly and chatty.
You want toys? They got toys!*, lots of mixed goods / collectables / bric – a – brac, less of the “house clearing / moving”.
With the freeway operating (apart from 40kph through the Darlington interchange) probably took no more time to get there than it does to get to T&T at Brighton.
And I scored “Best of Sam Cooke” ($3.00). Unfortunately doesn’t include the all important “A change is gonna come”. Plays well, it’ll do for now.
*But no “Bobby Swift” cars: a request from car obsessed 4yo great nephew.
